COMANDO presents its advances in the new generation of coordinated autonomous systems at UNVEX 2026.
October 13, 2026The UNVEX 2026 event, recently held in the Region of Murcia, has established itself as the ideal venue to showcase the latest progress made by COMANDO_CERVERA. This technology cooperation network, aimed at spearheading the development of a new generation of autonomous systems, seeks to transform the operational capabilities and efficiency of unmanned vehicles in highly complex environments.
During the event, representatives of the initiative outlined how technological capabilities across the air, land, and maritime domains are being connected and coordinated. The primary goal of this joint effort is to optimize key aspects such as autonomous mobility, advanced fleet management, and the simultaneous, coordinated, and intelligent operation of unmanned systems.
Strategic alliances for the future of autonomy
UNVEX 2026 also provided a platform to strengthen collaboration among the project’s strategic partners. In this context, a working meeting was held by Jorge Seoane Brandariz of the ITG Technology Center (the coordinating center for the COMANDO project) and Joseba Lasa and Joana Gracia Acha, representatives of TECNALIA Research & Innovation.
This key meeting made it possible to align the upcoming development phases of the COMANDO network, reinforcing both organizations’ mutual commitment to overcoming the technical and operational challenges inherent in multi-domain collaboration within the autonomous systems sector.
